An important part of life at Gatley Primary School is the opportunity for the children to showcase their learning in different ways; we believe drama is an important way to help their learning to 'stick' and to create powerful memories for the children and their families who come to watch. A unique part of all these productions is the fact that the children identify their own parts and even write their own scripts. 

Our plays and productions last year included:

Nursery: Christmas Songs and Rhymes

Reception: A Disciple of Christmas

Year 1: Are All Stories Told Through Books?

Year 2: A Journey Through Year 2

Year 3: A Museum of Talents

Year 4: Who Changes the World?

Year 5: Hall of Fame

Our Year 6 children create a long lasting memory in their end of year film. This showcases their entire journey through their time at primary school and ends with a leaver's song they write themselves about their learning and experiences at Gatley Primary. Last year's movie was called 'A Blast from the Past'.
