Gatley Primary School is a proud member of Education Learning Trust.
Our Trust Values:
Through a strong belief and commitment to our values, the Trust aims to work with schools to collaborating together in order to empower staff resulting in achievement for all.
We believe working collaboratively as a community of learners is vital to success. We encourage partners to learn from each other through shared acknowledgement of skills and reciprocity. We strive to enthuse and develop our learners, both children and adults, to unleash their potential; we want everyone to have the opportunity to take the lead. Empowering them to take personal autonomy, leading to a sense of control, ownership, contribution, personal growth, pride, self-esteem and self-identity.
We aim for excellence and have high expectations for all. We want every learner to achieve beyond expectations, while learners can also be innovative and a driving force for change.
As we are part of the Education Learning Trust, we share curriculum principles with the other Primary Schools in the Trust (Gatley Primary and Meadowbank Primary). These principles have been used to shape the intention of our curriculum. The nine curriculum principles which align with the Trust’s vision of ‘Collaborate, Empower, Achieve’ are:
Our progressive, enriched curriculum reflects not only the National Curriculum but fits the context of our school and the ambition we have for our children. Across the primary schools within the Education Learning Trust, we have six connected concepts which are:
-
