Adrian Borrowdale - Co-opted Governor, Co Vice Chair of Governors
I have spent 20 years working across the public sector, specialising in equality, diversity and inclusion. For the last 10 years, my roles in the UK's health and care regulators have allowed me to focus on one of my core interests-tackling unfairness in educational outcomes, and I'm thrilled to be able to support Gatley as a Governor.
My son attends Gatley Primary, and every day I see the school's relentless determination to provide the best for every child, and I know that I have a crucial role in supporting that work. Prior to taking up this role at Gatley Primary, I have been fortunate to work as a governor at another school within the Education and Learning Trust, and have loved seeing how passionate and motivated the school staff are to support the children who rely on them every day.
